FESTIVAL TIME AT ST. MARY IS ALMOST HERE!
The St. Mary Community Festival is coming up! Join us Friday, Sept. 5 and Saturday, Sept. 6 for fellowship, food, rides, games and more as we kick off this annual event that is a major fundraiser for us!
The festival kick off is Friday, Sept. 5 at 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and starts again on Saturday, Sept. 6 at 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The winner of the 50/50 Raffle Drawing will be announced at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday!

THURSDAY Sept. 4 & FRIDAY Sept. 5: No Mass
SATURDAY Sept. 6: 4:30 p.m. St. Joseph. No Mass as St. Mary & No 6 pm at St. Joseph!
SUNDAY Sept. 7 8 AM St. Joseph 9:30 AM St. Ann Noon St. Mary for festival workers, but open to all!
The Adoration Chapel will also close at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3rd and reopen at 8am on Monday, September 8th.
A Special Movie Showing of Triumph of the Heart!
We have a wonderful opportunity to see the much anticipated film about St. Maximilian Kolbe’s life at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11 at Park Theatre in North Vernon, Ind. This movie showing is made possible by some generous sponsors: St. Mary & St. Joseph Catholic Churches, the Seymour Knights of Columbus, The Catholic Community of Jennings County, and parishioner, Steve Gasper. Looking for A Good Catholic Book Study?
The Carmelite Saint, St. Elizabeth of the Trinity, is becoming more known and we are having a book study about her writings that discuss the indwelling of God in our lives. Join us on Thursdays, starting September 25 at 6 p.m. in the St. Mary Parish Center. We will study the book: This Present Paradise by Claire Dwyer with study questions and reflections.

The Knights of Columbus is serving up BREAKFAST every fourth Sunday at St. Mary after the 9:30 a.m. Mass. Come for pancakes, bacon, biscuits and gravy, all served up with a smile and large quantities of coffee!
