Dear Friends,
Today, as we begin Holy Week, we celebrate the “Palm Sunday of Our Lord’s Passion.” In the processional Gospel we relive Christ’s triumphal entrance into Jerusalem. In the second Gospel reading we hear of the events of Christ’s passion from his arrest to his being laid in the tomb. It is a solemn day as we walk along with Jesus and his disciples and anticipate what is to come.
I ask you to truly consider making this a HOLY WEEK by limiting other activities and by participating in the “Holy Triduum”, the sacred three days of the paschal mystery; “Holy Thursday evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper,” “Good Friday of the Passion of Our Lord,” and the “Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday of the Resurrection of the Lord.”
Please check the bulletin for Mass times and other events. You won’t regret your extra efforts to walk along with Jesus during this Holy Week!
Easter Peace and Blessings,
Father Chris
