Dear Friends,
This weekend we celebrate the 15th Sunday of Ordinary Time. Today Jesus tells the beautiful and challenging Parable of the Sower.
May we hear the Parable of the Sower and not let the seed of God’s word in us be sown on the path, on rocky ground, or in the thorns but rather may we be the one who sows the seed we have been given in rich soil by hearing the word of God and seeking to understand it so that we may bear fruit that yields an abundant harvest!
Next weekend please welcome Father Simon Hermann, OSB. Father Simon is Benedictine Monk of St. Meinrad Archabbey and will be sharing about religious vocations and the work of St. Meinrad Archabbey and School of Theology. There will not be a second collection, however, St. Meinrad will send out letters later requesting your support for the education of future priests.
Peace and Blessings,
Father Chris
