I would like to inform you about a Lenten Scripture study program that will be offered in all three parishes. Lent begins this year on Ash Wednesday, February 18th. “Lenten Longings” is a weekly small group Bible Study from RENEW based on the weekly Sunday readings of Lent.
The program is an excellent opportunity to share your faith with other parishioners and spiritually prepare for Easter. Sign up cards are available in the pews this weekend. The deadline to sign up is Monday, February 9th. Please sign up as soon as possible so that we can order booklets and notify you regarding a small group that meets at your desired date and time.
If you already meet with a small faith group or would like to form your own group, you are welcome to do so. Please contact Lisa Vogel ([email protected]) in the parish office. The gatherings can take place, as available, on the parish properties or in your own homes. We will need leaders for each group but the program is very user friendly and leading the gatherings will be super easy.
Each participant will receive a free guide book but we will accept free will donations to help defray the cost of the program. Please consider participating I guarantee it will be time well spent!
In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us, “Your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.” This week, may we be the light for others!
