Dear Friends,
In today’s Gospel the Pharisees seek to “entrap Jesus in speech”. But once again Jesus outsmarts them reminding us that we are to “repay Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.” In other words, we must separate worldly things from godly things and focus not on worldly things but on godly things.
We must, as today’s Psalm reminds us, “Give the Lord glory and honor…the glory due His name! For great is the Lord and highly to be praised.”
May we give God glory and honor this week through our prayers and in our words and deeds!
Peace and Blessings,
Father Chris
