Pilgrimage Destination: The Blessed Sacrament Shrine, Hanceville, Alabama
Our journey will take us to the Blessed Sacrament Shrine in Hanceville, Alabama. This beautiful shrine is a sanctuary of peace and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. It offers pilgrims an opportunity to find solace, grow closer to their faith, and experience the beauty of this place. The shrine is known for its stunning architecture, a replica of Lourdes Grotto, a castle that showcases medieval saints, and an interactive Eucharistic Center. There are also walking paths and plenty of spaces to share your trip with friends or go to pray in solitude and solace before the Eucharistic Jesus.
Visit to the EWTN Studios in Birmingham
Our pilgrimage will also include a visit to the EWTN Studios in Birmingham. EWTN or the Eternal Word Television Network, is a global Catholic Network that broadcasts Catholic TV shows. This visit will give you a behind-the-scenes look into the world of Catholic broadcasting. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the production of religious programs and perhaps even meet some of the people who create them. It’s a unique experience that combines faith and media, giving you a broader perspective of what the late founder Mother Angelica wanted in her desire to evangelize the Catholic culture.
